The Board of the DALRC is pleased to announce the addition of a very important communications tool “CapWiz”, our legislative action site for Delta people to use in order to express their views more easily to their elected representatives in Washington.

This program is the same communications tool Delta uses to garner support for their initiatives such as “Pension Legislation” and “Keep Delta My Delta” and the China routes. We believe this will provide all of us with an effective voice in expressing our opinions on many issues, today and in the future.

Without the support of the DALRC membership through their dues payments and continued increase in membership, we would not have been able to afford to provide this feature or have the ability to monitor the process as we have been able to do. CapWiz will benefit all Delta People in allowing them to easily send a message you compose yourself or use one of our sample letters that we have put together, it is your choice.

We urge you to spend some time navigating around the CapWiz page on our website and getting comfortable with it….it is a very important component of how we are going to be able to protect our benefits in the years ahead. Of course, it is only good IF you use it! So please take a minute out every day and send your elected representatives a note and don’t just stop there…you need to follow that up with a phone call to them….as they told us that calling is extremely effective as well. Delta retirees have a lot at stake in this acquisition we need to have our voices heard in Washington!
